Selecting Areas for Extract Part

Select individual areas

With Extract Part, you can select multiple data areas and extract them all at once.

As in the example below, click each part you need—product name, reviews, price, model number, and so on—and each selected area is added separately to the panel. Once you click the [Run Listly] button, all the selected areas are extracted at the same time.

When you select and extract this way, the information from each individually selected area is extracted as shown below.

Select repeating areas at once (auto-select repeating elements)

You can automatically select repeating areas with a single click.

As shown in the example below, click a specific element on the web page, then click an element that repeats the first one. Listly recognizes the similar areas and a popup appears. When it does, click the Group All button.

Elements with the same hierarchy are recognized as a single area and recorded in the side panel, as shown below. (The colors in the image have been varied to make it easier to follow.)

After selecting the areas you want with 'Select repeating areas at once', click the extract button to pull the data as shown below. You can also easily gather repeating images and brand names from within a single page.

Auto-select repeating elements (select by item box)

You can also auto-select repeating elements by item box. When you select the first box and then the second box in the sequence, you can select every item with the same structure at once.

If you want to select by item this way, when the popup appears after a similar pattern is detected between your two selected areas, check that 'Select by item' is enabled, then click 'Group All.'

As you can see in the image above, enabling this toggle expands the dotted selection box to the item level.
