# I entered a URL but the image did not download.

Check that the URL you entered is not a webpage address. Image URLs are different from webpage addresses and should be a URL that displays only the image.

#### How to resolve

<figure><img src="/files/f1395f64312d36319abaeb765677f60e6aada4b4" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Make sure the URL is correct.

* You must enter a URL that directly displays only the image instead of a webpage.
* Example: <https://example.com/image.jpg>
  {% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Use the preview feature.

* If the image URL is entered correctly, the image will be displayed in the preview area below.
* When the preview displays correctly, proceed with the download.

# Agent Instructions: Querying This Documentation

If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.listly.io/support/faq/listly-image-downloader/i-entered-a-url-but-the-image-did-not-download..md?ask=<question>
```

The question should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
